Jessica Biel and Sharlto Copley Join The A-Team
According to Variety, Joe Carnahan is directing with Ridley Scott producing with Jules Daly and series creator Stephen J. Cannell. Skip Woods' script keeps the TV series premise of four wrongly convicted vets escaping from prison to become do-gooder mercenaries but carries a more serious tone than the small-screen version.
Production begins this fall in Vancouver.
Copley will portray helicopter pilot Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock, a role originated by Dwight Schultz in the original series. Biel's set to play the ex-love of Cooper's character "Faceman," the general pursuing the team.
Neeson's set to play John "Hannibal" Smith, the role originated by George Peppard, and Jackson's on board as Sgt. "B.A." Baracus, portrayed by Mr. T in the series.
The A-Team was released June 11th, 2010 and stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel, Quinton Jackson, Sharlto Copley, Patrick Wilson, Gerald McRaney, Henry Czerny. The film is directed by Joe Carnahan.

This A Team reboot is sounding better all the time! Sharlto Copley is a great casting choice as Murdoch (Copley was the star/human/alien hybrid in District9). Jessica Biel is not the best actress, but, adequate...but, she's wayyy Hot!
With Liam Neeson as Hannibal, Bradley Cooper (The Hangover) as Face...MMA fighter/Jackson as BA Baracus..and Ridley Scott producing a Carnahan directing, this is gonna be cool!!

It's hard to say at this point whether or not the film will be good. Liam Neeson is very legendary; Bradley Cooper is up and coming - not so bad; Quinton Jackson is a terrible casting choice... They should have cast Michael Jai White; Don't know who Sharlto Copley is... I have to see his face though. Jessica Biel? She's not bad but damn.
Joe Carnahan did great with Smokin' Aces and Narc, with this Jackson, this film is going no where. Although Carnahan was able to jump start Common's acting career in mainstream cinema. Who knows what he can do for this.
I just hope Carnahan sticks to "White Jazz".

The Narrator: The Better Man
I am looking forward to this one. I hate the casting choice for B.A. and I could do without the director for this particular project. He did good in smoking aces but I am not sure if this is up hi alley. I will see it anyways. looking forward to Liam Neeson.

In my opinion all the cast choices so far have been pretty decent. Obviously they can't please everyone, least of all those who have no idea who an actor is but are sure they wont be any good XD

everytime a new article about another terrible casting choice comes afloat i just scoff.
jessica beil is awful, in my opinion.
i have no idea who rampage jackson is but i'm sure he sucks too.
except from my undying respect for liam neeson i have no reason to look forward to this travesty.

RRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrreally hope this doesn't suck. I mean, the A-Team was always like an action sitcom, but I hope this doesn't suck as bad as it can.
But, with Rampage Jackson in the mix, I shouldn't get my hopes too high.
