There has been a lot of speculation about Jesse L. Martin's continued appearance on NBC's Law & Order. According to Variety, the actor has decided to stay with the show for thirteen more episodes.

Word on the street was that Martin would leave the show whether it was renewed or not. That rumor proved to be false. Even though Martin is only signed on for thirteen more episodes, he has the option to do more if he so chooses.

The show returns this fall on NBC.
