Jersey Shore Returns for a 2nd Season this summer
Negotiations have been going on for weeks, with the core cast asking to up their $5,000 per episode salary to $10,000 per episode. The final fee wasn't disclosed, but MTV was quick to make a deal. Jersey Shore has proven to be one of their biggest hits in years.
Season two will kick off this summer with twelve all-new episodes. Production is expected to start shortly. One scenario has the gang escaping the cold weather of the Northeast for a more tropical location.

Ive never seen this show,..but of course I have heard enough about it to know that paying these douche-bag guys and stupid whor*-like chicks 5 to 10 thousand per show is a sound investment.
-Plus it makes people struggling to find jobs feel great about themselves knowing that asses with no discernible talents can get so far ahead in life by being jag-offs on tv.
