Jerry O'Connell to play Herman Munster in Mockingbird Lane
Jerry O'Connell has boarded NBC's The Munsters reboot, Mockingbird Lane. The show has been changed from a comedy to a one hour long visually intense drama.

The actor will play Herman Munster, who was originally played by Fred Gwynne in classic '60s version. The pilot was written by Bryan Fuller and is going to be directed by Bryan Singer.

Mason Cook is playing Eddie Munster with Eddie Izzard portraying Grandpa.

The show was scheduled to begin production this spring but was pushed back due to casting issues.
