Jeremy Renner reveals The Bourne Legacy details
"My character is called Aaron Cross, but he ends up having a bunch of different names. For fans of the franchise, [The Bourne Legacy] has that same ticking clock, but it's a new program and new characters."
When asked if the Treadstone program is still present in The Bourne Legacy, Jeremy Renner indicated it's the same set-up as before, but with different characters, and a bigger scope.
"Yeah, it's that same deal, it's just a new set of agents with a different leash. It's the same tempo and pace but more expansive and bigger. The differences are pretty vast but you'll know it's a Bourne movie."
The Bourne Legacy comes to theaters August 3rd, 2012 and stars Rachel Weisz, Jeremy Renner, Joan Allen, Albert Finney, Oscar Isaac, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach, Scott Glenn. The film is directed by Tony Gilroy.

Mixed feelings are now present. Jeremy Renner kinda seems like a miscast, and it seems they are going to focus more on action than story; hence the "more expansive and bigger" statement.
