In a story from The Hollywood Reporter Jeremy Renner is joining the cast of The Town which Ben Affleck will direct for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures

Renner will be co-starring with Affleck, Jon Hamm and Rebecca Hall in the adaptation of the Chuck Hogan's book "Prince of Thieves."

The story follows Affleck as a career thief who becomes smitten by the manager of a bank. Renner will play Affleck's best friend.

Currently, this movie is set to shoot in Boston in September.

The Town was released September 17th, 2010 and stars Ben Affleck, Rebecca Hall, Jon Hamm, Jeremy Renner, Blake Lively, Slaine, Owen Burke, Titus Welliver. The film is directed by Ben Affleck.
