In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Jeffrey Nachmanoff (Traitor) recently signed on to direct Billy Smoke for Warner Bros.

The film will be adapted from the Oni Press comic.

Matthew Fox will be starring as an elite hit man who almost gets killed in a botched job. After this he decides he must kill all the assassins that inhabit the world.

The comic book was written by B. Clay Moore and illustrated by Eric Kim. Oni Press will publish it later this year.

Billy Smoke was released in 2009.
