Jeffrey Dean Morgan joins Sam Worthington for The Texas Killing Fields
Just a week after picking up a new film project, it seems Jeffrey Dean Morgan has landed yet another role. Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that Morgan has been cast in The Texas Killing Fields.

The film is based off the true story of two Texas police detectives who teamed up to solve numerous unsolved crimes. Sam Worthington has already joined the cast, as we previously reported, as a local homicide detective. It was said in the initial report that Worthington's character was assisted by a New York detective, but it wasn't clear if Morgan was cast in that particular role.

Ami Canaan Mann, daughter of filmmaker Michael Mann, will direct from Donald F. Ferrarone's script. It was said production would start this April in Louisiana.

Texas Killing Fields was released October 14th, 2011 and stars Sam Worthington, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chloe Moretz, Corie Berkemeyer, Trenton Perez, Maureen Brennan, Tony Bentley, Sheryl Lee. The film is directed by Ami Canaan Mann.

I like this guy, and Worthington, and I hope that filmmaking talent runs in the family of Michael Mann.

Sam seems to be getting around since past year. Already appeared & tagged to appear in numerous anticipated or formerly anticipated flicks. I haven't seen JDM in anything other than "Watchmen," and he looks kinda like the American Javier Bardem. idk, I at first thought that it was him when I saw the first "Watchmen" image of Comedian and immediately thought that I couldn't be right.

So far I like Worthington and Morgan...I think that could be a pretty sweet combo. Plus, I'm a big Michael Mann fan so I'm interested to see what his daughter will do with this project. This could be pretty cool...wait and see what happens I guess.

I've been watching things that I like within in. It started with Sliders and til this day, I'm just stumbling onto films that he's in that are on my hit list to see. When Supernatural started I had no idea that he was in it, I was pleasantly surprised.
