Jeffrey Dean Morgan Heads to Shanghai
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Morgan plays Connor, an American killed in Japanese-occupied Shanghai before the attack on Pearl Harbor. Cusack's Paul Soames sets out to investigate his friend's murder and discovers a larger secret that the government is hiding.
Mikael Hafstrom (1408) is directing from a script by Hossein Amini (The Four Feathers).
The film is in production in Thailand.
Shanghai was released in 2011 and stars John Cusack, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, David Morse, Franka Potente, Ken Watanabe, Chow Yun-Fat, Li Gong, Rinko Kikuchi. The film is directed by Mikael Håfström.
