Actor Ray Wise reveals the script for the third film is done
"The script for 'Jeepers Creepers 3' is complete," Wise said. "They're in pre-production planning now. I'm hopeful that sometime in the next two or three months we'll get a start date...[MGM] definitely want[s] to do it, and it's just a matter of putting together all the final financing I believe...I think it's gonna be a go in a couple of months."
In addition, he indicated the third chapter in the series would pick up literally right where the second film let off.
"It begins right where the second one ended, right there in that barn with the Creeper on the wall and me the old man waiting there with my harpoon gun."

Wise also said that Victor Salva, who wrote and directed both films, would return to direct. "He wouldn't let anybody touch that," Wise said. "The Creeper is his."

not all straight to DVD is bad, just look at the two star gate sg1 films they did really well when they were released. here's hoping that it still works, glad that this film is being made though. I do wish that it is the last.

Most straight to dvd flicks do better financially because they don't have to pay for theaters and promotions. If it does go straight to DVD it will sell because it's a "familiar" name to horror fans and fans of the first two.

I know that killing him is alike trying to kill Jason and such. But Creeper is still something that can take real damange. In one he gets hit by the car and limps until he gets a new one. 2 had him in pieces with out completing what he was ment to do every 10 years. But for me, I cant understand why they would not have put his remains in acid or something anyway. So in therory, Creeper can be killed, or atleast put into a state where he can no longer be able to reform. Like putting the body in pieces and held in barrels buried in a large cement filled hole.

kinda undecided on this one. i haven't seen either of the creeper movies in years. i'll wait for the trailer to make a final decision. wasnt part 3 supposed to take place in mexico or something like that?? i remember them saying something to that effect when they started talking about this sequel years ago.

Jeepers is undead, it's like trying to kill Michael Meyers or Jason when you can't. It picks itself up and keep going for more kills.
Personally I loved the first film, the second not to much since the story wasn't there.
