Jean Reno has climbed aboard the Universal comedy Couples Retreat, starring Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau.

According to Variety, the story follows four couples who go to a tropical island resort, where they discover that participation in the resort's couples therapy is not optional.

Reno will play a therapist and operator of the resort.

Favreau penned the comedy that Peter Billingsley is directing. Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell, Malin Akerman, Kristin Davis and Faizon Love round out the cast.

Reno also will co-star in The Pink Panther 2 and Armored, the latter alongside Laurence Fishburne.

The film is about to go into production.

Couples Retreat was released October 9th, 2009 and stars Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Faizon Love, Jon Favreau, Malin Akerman, Kristen Bell, Kristin Davis, Kali Hawk. The film is directed by Peter Billingsley.
