Jean-Claude Van Damme Is a Weapon

The Muscles From Brussells is heading for the silver screen once again with a new action film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jean-Claude Van Damme is teaming up with Vinnie Jones for the new action film Weapon.

The film will center on Van Damme and Jones, who will portray rival hitmen who must band together. Van Damme will portray an expert with a knife while Jones will play a sniper, and the two must join sides to take out a drug cartel.

Russell Mulcahy will direct the film, which is looking to start production this August in the Vancouver area.

    haha wow! Jean-Claude Van Damme is too long of a name and cant be put in the same sentence with Vinnie Jones. Vinnie is gonna make this guy look like a fool. Horrible story line tho, one is a sniper and one is good with a knife?? horrible horrible!!

    FINALLY he's ego has let him double team again. I hope this will resurrect his career, synopsis doesn't give much hope though.

    This is his best bet for future projects as well. Even if it's a small part of a good/big project.

    @dcrock, ed wood is correct, you should check out JCVD, it won some Indie Festival awards. Very cool movie. Reveals the human side of Van Damme. Probably the first time in his career he played a character with depth, and it just so happens he's playing himself in the movie.
