Jay Mohr lands role in Burt Wonderstone
The film will follow the title character (Steve Carell), a magician who loses his longtime stage partner after a risky stunt goes bad. The illusionist must rediscover his love of magic to dethrone a new rival magician. Jay Mohr will play a magician named Rick the Implausible. Jim Carrey, James Gandolfini, Olivia Wilde, and Steve Buscemi have all boarded as well.
Don Scardino is directing Burt Wonderstone from a screenplay by Jason Reitman. Production is expected to start in January 2012.
The Incredible Burt Wonderstone was released March 15th, 2013 and stars Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde, Jim Carrey, James Gandolfini, Alan Arkin, Jay Mohr, Michael Herbig. The film is directed by Don Scardino.
