Broken Lizard's Jay Chandrasekhar and writing partner Julia Dray are working on the feature film Taildraggers together. According to Variety, The Loop's Will Gluck will write the script.

The story revolves around a group of pilots in the Alaskan Wilderness. They attempt to stop a competing airline from siphoning oil out of a natural reserve. Vice President of production, Jonathan King, stated, "Comedies can be as effective as dramas in telling stories about issues and highlighting how people can make a difference, but, really, Taildraggers made us laugh. That it is actually about something is simply icing on the cake."

The film could be a potential directing job for Chandrasekhar, and the rest of the cast may be filled with other members of the Broken Lizard team. There is no word on when filming will begin.
