The book takes place at the end of summer in Holton Mills, New Hampshire. A thirteen-year-old boy named Henry, who has no friends and is very lonely, passes the time watching TV and thinking "about the soft skin and budding bodies of his female classmates." Things become different on the Thursday before Labor Day when Henry helps a mysterious bleeding man, and for the next five days learns some valuable life lessons.
The book was released on July 28th from William Morrow.
Reitman is also developing a project for Director Jenny Lumet (daughter of Sidney) titled See Also: Sambo. This is what Lumet said about the project to The Wall Street Journal:
I'm working with Jason Reitman, who directed Juno. He's a dream. This movie right now is called See Also: Sambo. I looked up something like mixed race on Wikipedia and that's [the term] I found. I said Jason might be the only person on the planet who should do this.

In case any one is out of the loop or cares to know I have been hacking Delgren's profile and making it sound like he likes to suck dick. He does not like to suck dick, sorry for doing all of this. I don't know what comes over me sometimes.

I remember last year's Labor Day. The best day in my life, where i meant the man of my dreams, who literally sh*t in my face. It tasted good.
