Jamie Bell, Tom Sturridge and Teresa Palmer have all signed on to star in the science fiction flick, Jumper.

Based on the novel by Steven Gould, Jumper follows a kid from a broken home (Sturridge) who discovers that he has the ability to teleport; according to The Hollywood Reporter, he is on a quest for the man he believes is responsible for the death of his mother. Bell is a young man he meets, a jumper who shows him the ropes. Palmer will play the love interest.

Jumper will be directed by Doug Liman (Mr. and Mrs. Smith); a 2007 release is scheduled.
