During our interview with Saw creator, Leigh Whannell, the writer/actor revealed that his next project Dead Silence has gotten a new name...

"Dead Silence is going really well. We changed the title from Silence to Dead Silence. It is the complete opposite of what we did with Saw. It comes from a different place. It's like the classic horror films of yester year. It's been done for awhile. It went through three years of studio changes. But its in the can and it is great."

James Wan is directing Dead Silence. The film is scheduled for release this year.

Dead Silence was released March 16th, 2007 and stars Ryan Kwanten, Amber Valletta, Donnie Wahlberg, Michael Fairman, Joan Heney, Bob Gunton, Laura Regan, Dmitry Chepovetsky. The film is directed by James Wan.
