James Bond 23 to Be a Shocking Story

MI6 recently caught up with James Bond 23 screenwriter Peter Morgan. In discussing this new movie in the ongoing saga of everyones favorite superspy, Morgan said "It's a shocking story."

Sadly, beyond that, he wouldn't say any more.

Production on the film us currently halted until February as the debt heavy MGM is on the sales block. The thinking is that whoever buys the company will put a quick greenlight on the project in order "to recoup some of its investment."

Daniel Craig will reprise his role as Ian Fleming's James Bond 007 in the film, which will be a MGM release of an EON production. Bond 23 is the latest installment in the longest-running franchise in motion picture history and will be produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.

Skyfall comes to theaters November 9th, 2012 and stars Ralph Fiennes, Daniel Craig, Helen McCrory, Javier Bardem, Tonia Sotiropoulou, Bérénice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris. The film is directed by Sam Mendes.

If Tarantino ever gets his hands on Bond...I might die a little inside.

taratino is a serial copycat. all he can do is pay 'homage' to film genres. PULP FICTION was his best, KILL BILL was good. The rest were useless. leave him OUT of bond.

CASINO ROYALE was good, but had flaws. QUANTUM was just horrible. Someone said GREENGRASS....that's something i would like to see.

Shocking story? Now I'm curious. I think they ruined Quatum of Solace by making it the first BOND sequal. I wish they never did that.

I think Lionsgate might get the franchise. They've showed serious interest in it. So don't be surprised to see Jigsaw vs. Bond.

Campbell scored with GoldenEye, but Royale doesn't hold up for multiple viewing, but I am looking forward to Green Lantern.

That would be f*cking awesome Soylent. That's what so great about the Bond franchise. You can make something like Moonraker and come back with a hardcore bond movie. It should be the first R rated Bond movie.

Casino Royale wasn't great at all. Especially to a huge Bond fan like me, if you know about bond, you'll know that that whole card game scene was pointless, because way before Bond became a 00, in Oxford this guy is a f*cking card shark. Just watch Thunderball. Le Chiffre wouldn't have stood a chance. Also, the relationship between Bond and Vesper didn't even compare to his relationship with Tracy. There was a lot more there.

Quantum of Solace wasn't that good of a film. I found it confusing and it was dull, sure hope the new film is a whole lot better.

Oh, come on will someone please buy this company already so filming can back to filming. I still got to get Casino Royale out of my mouth. Quantum of Solace almost did but i still can't get that terrible Bond movie out of my head.
