James Badge Dale is set to star in ABC dramedy, Fort Pit from Sony Pictures TV and Denis Leary's Apostle.

The show is set at one of the worst, most crime-ridden NYPD precincts in Brooklyn; The Hollywood Reporter adds bad cops are sent to live out their careers and rookie cops with no connections are stationed. Dale will play Bobby Bonelli, who is new to the police precinct and fresh out of the academy, where he was tops in his class.

In other TV news, Scott Cohen has joined the cast of Fox's comedy, The Return of Jezebel James from Regency TV and Amy Sherman-Palladino. It revolves around two estranged sisters who reunite after one of them, Coco, agrees to carry the baby of the other one, Sarah. Cohen will play Marcus, a charming confirmed bachelor whose relationship with Sarah is all about nice dinners, fancy drinks and sex.

No word on a final schedule for either show.
