Jaimie Alexander Joins Thor
Alexander and Feore will be joining Chris Hemsworth who is already cast as the title character. Tom Hiddleston, will play Loki, the god of mischief who is the movie's villain. Natalie Portman is going to be Thor's human love, Jane Foster.
In Thor, Alexander will play Sif. She is a skilled Asgardian warrior who can fight as well as any man. She also is one of Thor's many loves.
Feore's character is currently cloaked in mystery. All that's known is that he's a villain.
At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
Thor was released May 6th, 2011 and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgård, Kat Dennings, Clark Gregg, Idris Elba. The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh.

The Narrator: The Better Man
Can't wait. Natalie is a favorite and that chick up there looks hot. I am okay with Thor's casting but Loki's looks pretty awesome. I like how the director told him he wants the always hungry and thirsty look for Loki, how he wants more and is all muscle but scrawly. This seems to be getting really good.

Yeah, but taller and stronger has a tendency to mean stiffer and uninteresting as an actor. Arny may be the exception... although he's pretty much the same guy in every movie.

Asgard is a huge place filled with Norse Gods and Goddesses. It's not that they're introducing villains just to sell tickets(ahemSpider-Man 3ahem). Some other people, both "good" and "evil" are bound to show up. Hell, it's not even that they're introducing heroes and villains in the typical sense of a super hero movie. If anything, they're introducing Norse mythology...in the Marvel way.
