Jackie Chan planning new action comedy
The story is based on an original idea from the action star. He will also be starring as a Chinese detective, who is hired to hunt down an American gambler that owes a large amount of money to the Macau casino syndicate. The film is set in China, Macau and Eastern Europe.
The action star most recently directed, wrote and starred in Chinese 12 Zodiac. He also made appearances in The Karate Kid, Kung Fu Panda and The Spy Next Door.
No title or production schedule has been released for the project.
