Jackie Chan Kicks The Spy Next Door

Jackie Chan has signed on to star in The Spy Next Door, an action comedy financed by Relativity Media and directed by veteran studio director Brian Levant.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jonathan Bernstein and Jim Greer are writing the screenplay for The Spy Next Door, which centers on a man (Chan) who is called to baby-sit his neighbor's children and winds up having to fight off secret agents after one of the kids inadvertently downloads a secret code.

No production date has been set.

    Agree nyfresh... Jackie Chan has great action scenes in his movies. I don't really give a crap if the movie is a Pacifier copycat... Chan will make Vin Diesel's movie look sick with his actions scenes alone.

    Besides... who the hell would think Jackie Chan is gonna make a worthwhile movie? He'll never be up for an academy award... so f*ck it.... give me Jackie kicking some ass and I'm happy.
