Warner Bros. has pushed Bryan Singer's Jack the Giant Killer from June 15, 2012 to March 22, 2013. It isn't said why the switch was made, but Jack the Giant Killer will now go up against Sony's Captain Phillips and DreamWorks Animation's The Croods.

The studio has also moved the upcoming musical Rock of Ages from June 1 of 2012 to June 15. The only other movie slated for release on June 15 is the Sony comedy Donny's Son, which stars Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg.

Warner Bros. has also taken Arthur & Lancelot off its release schedule. It was previously scheduled for release on March 15, 2013. Joel Kinnaman and Kit Harington are attached to star in the medieval adventure from director David Dobkin.

Jack the Giant Killer comes to theaters March 22nd, 2013 and stars Ewan McGregor, Nicholas Hoult, Stanley Tucci, Warwick Davis, Bill Nighy, Ian McShane, Ewen Bremner, Eddie Marsan. The film is directed by Bryan Singer.

Rock of Ages comes to theaters June 15th, 2012 and stars Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Julianne Hough, Bryan Cranston, Malin Akerman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti. The film is directed by Adam Shankman.

Arthur & Lancelot is in development and stars Colin Farrell. The film is directed by David Dobkin.

    Its just like Man of steel, it was supposed to dropped this xmas, but moved to 2013 for more improvement and better film, i guess its the same here.

    .....but there is no denying, the trailer was awful. The way I look at it, everyone make a sh*tty movie at some point. Maybe it's Singers turn.

    Maybe there is still hope for it with the delay, who knows?

    @k-man -- Bryan Singer is not a bad director, so I'm hoping this works in his favor - if he makes the right choices, of course. I wasn't too fond of the trailer, either.

    @bawnian-dexeus -- Oh, definitely! I'd hate to compete with The Avengers, Breaking Dawn Part 2, and The Amazing Spider-Man. I'll predict all of those titles making over $700 million worldwide, easily.
