Jack Nicholson to Star in Senior Citizen's Version of The Hangover

We reported last October that director Peter Chelsom was set to direct a new CBS Films comedy and it seems they might have found their star. Vulture is reporting that an offer has been made to Jack Nicholson to star in the comedy Last Vegas.

The script comes from Dan Fogelman and was described as a senior citizens version of The Hangover. Instead of drunken debauchery, this story revolves around four childhood friends who come together in Las Vegas to see the longtime bachelor of the group get married. The bachelor is the role said to be offered to Nicholson. It was also said that tensions rise with the bachelor and the widower of the group both develop feelings for a lounge singer.

Last Vegas comes to theaters November 1st, 2013 and stars Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Mary Steenburgen, Michael Douglas, Kevin Kline, Dan Owens, Jerry Ferrara, Romany Malco. The film is directed by Jon Turteltaub.

They should remake "wanted dead or alive" if they want to remake something that starred rutgher houre and gene simmons. This time have brad pitt play the bounty hunter.

yeah, he can offer laughs but i'd would rather have that coming from a more serious role instead of a comedy.
