Jack Black is set to produce the upcoming animated film Cryptozoology through Universal's Illumination Entertainment. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the script will be based on a pitch from Jason Micallef.

At this time, all story details are being kept under wraps. The film will revolve around the wonderful world of Cryptozoology, which studies the likely existence of such legendary and "so-called" mythical creatures as Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. We might also see the Montauk Monster, the Chupacabras, and the Jersey Devil thrown in the mix.

At this time, Black is not expected to voice any of the creatures in the film.
