iTunes Expands It's Season Pass
In a story from Home Media Retailing, it appears that the web portal is broadening it's "multi-episode subscription-style offerings" in the TV realm.
Known as the Season Pass, the way it works is "purchasers receive all existing episodes at the point of sale, and each subsequent episode will be added to their iTunes download queue as they become available on the service throughout the season."
For example, among the shows that are offered, if you pay $42.99 you get all the episodes of Heroes. If you pay $34.99 you can get all the episodes (for the season) of Lost, Desperate Housewives, Battlestar Galactica and The Office.
iTunes launched it's first subscription program in March with such content as The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.
