Isla Fisher has signed on to star in The Secret Dream World of a Shopaholic, according to JoBlo.com. Jerry Bruckheimer will produce.

The film will be based on the novel "Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella.

In the film, Fisher will star as Rebecca Bloomwood, a recent college graduate working as a financial journalist in New York City. Things are going well in her life with the exception of one thing: she's a shopaholic. The bills are piling up fast and she's forced to creatively find solutions to her mounting debt while falling in love with a highly successful entrepreneur she's highlighting for the magazine.

Filming is scheduled to begin this November in New York.
