Three more actors and a musician get some Soul. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Isaac Hayes, Jennifer Coolidge, Sean Hayes and musician John Legend have all signed up for Soul Men.

The foursome join the two leads Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac in this comedy written by the scribe pair Robert Ramsey and Matthew Stone and directed by Malcolm Lee. The film revolves around Jackson and Mac as two ex-bandmates who reunite after one of their other ex-members (Legend) has died.

Coolidge will play Bernie Mac's lover while Sean Hayes will play the band's erratic manager and Issac Hayes, in his first on-screen performance since a 2006 stroke, will play himself.

The film is currently shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana, Memphis and Los Angeles. The producers are planning on a theatrical release in October.

Soul Men was released November 7th, 2008 and stars Samuel L. Jackson, Bernie Mac, Sharon Leal, Adam Herschman, Sean Hayes, Affion Crockett, Fatso-Fasano, Jackie Long. The film is directed by Malcolm D. Lee.
