Tom Cruise may be joining Reese Witherspoon Paper Wings
The film is now being set up at Sony and the film was said to revolve around a rodeo champion, which Cruise would play, who falls for a talented new country singer, which Witherspoon would play.
No writer or director has been attached to the project as of yet, but the site reveals that Will Smith would produce through his Overbrook Entertainment production company and director Gabriele Muccino, who directed Smith in The Pursuit of Happyness and Seven Pounds, is in early talks to direct, although it was said that other directors are in the mix as well.

Tom as a rodeo champion - not going to fly in my opinion. There are way better choices for actors if you want to depict a true rodeo champ correct.
