Shrek Goes Fourth
After challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess and saving your in-laws' kingdom, what's an ogre to do? Well, if you're Shrek, you suddenly wind up a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitchforks. What's happened to this ogre's roar? Longing for the days when he felt like a "real ogre," Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumplestiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumplestiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, it's up to Shrek to undo all he's done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love.
Shrek Goes Forth is set to be released on May 21st, 2010.
Shrek Forever After was released May 21st, 2010 and stars Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Antonio Banderas, Julie Andrews, Jon Hamm, John Cleese, Craig Robinson. The film is directed by Mike Mitchell.

I agree with you Diaigma, this whole franchise has just gone down hill since the first one and it's all about making money. They've already got a Shrek 5 on the way. The first Shrek was definately the best, the second certainly wasn't bad at all it was still very good and funny, but the third one lost me almost completely, it almost seemed like it wasn't the Shrek we all knew and loved even showed up for the film. Now this one has the potential to be good, the third one seemed to have had a pretty good story too but we all know how that one turned out, they need to keep this film in the range of kids, mainly teens, and adults like the first two and if they do that this one could be pretty good.

It sounds like shrek is going thru a mid life crisis. LAME! I liked the first two then the third didnt intrest me at all. Ill wait for the dvd release...if that.
