Is The Green Hornet's 3D a 'smokescreen' for bigger problems?
"Sony is not merely converting The Green Hornet into 3-D, but rewriting and reshooting sizable chunks of the movie. The action sequences don't cut together and [are saddled with comprehension issues]. This isn't a conversion -- it's an overhaul using 3-D as a smokescreen."
This seems to back up IESB's initial story that we reported on earlier this month. Sony denied any trouble with the film in announcing the 3D conversion/enhancement, though.
We'll be sure to keep you posted as soon as we have any new information on The Green Hornet.
The Green Hornet was released January 14th, 2011 and stars Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, Tom Wilkinson, Christoph Waltz, David Harbour, Edward James Olmos, Jamie Harris. The film is directed by Michel Gondry.

their using the 3d to fall back on, well it looks like when they do fall noones going to be around to pick them up.... this movie like the watchmen would have murdered the box office 10-20 years ago.....

Man, I feel bad for this movie. Hopefully it doesn't suck royally. The fact that they're doing 3D after the fact (which I fear will be commonplace for the next few months) troubles me. Will 3D really bring in that much more money? Also, is that a rhetorical question?
