Palmer was one of many actresses who tested for the part less than a week ago. No official announcement has been made at this current date, but Moviehole.net did provide an update that indicates she has indeed been cast in the super hero extravaganza.

This movie is a very bad idea. i cant stress how bad i think this movie is going to be. i am a comic book finatic and look forward to these situations. But everything on this movie started bad and just keeps getting worse. George Miller should not be making this a kids movie for one. There are more people who over the age of 18 that read these comics than people under. They need to target us for once with these films. Also the timing is way off. You have two building franchises with Batman and Superman. why are you going to risk screwing that up to make a childrens movie of superheroes. Miller, stick to films like Happy Feet. Comics are not for you.

I don't see why these J-Holes didn't cast Charisma Carpenter. She's tall enough, athletic enough & stacked. Maybe she couldn't act tough enough. Hollywood is a sham!

if she does work out she could pull it off (besides Brandon Routh was thin as a rail before he did superman) and the hair can easly be made black...but then again the movie is supposed to be CG enhanced which means they can change it on there own i asume.
i don't know... my hopes for this movie are slowly going down hill. Especially when i found out they got for superman.
