Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to replace Fox in Transformers 3?
At present there are no details about her character. As for Huntington-Whiteley, aside from Victoria Secret, she is also Jason Statham's girlfriend.
As far as her acting resume, this is non-existent (except for playing herself on Victoria Secret Fashion Shows). However, Megan Fox was an unknown when Michael Bay cast her in the first Transformers film so there could actually be something to this story.
It seems that with all the money that it will cost to bring this film to the big screen, Fox's replacement will be announced by DreamWorks/Paramount sooner rather than later.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon was released June 29th, 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julie White, Kevin Dunn, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Alan Tudyk, John Malkovich. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

I honestly dont even think there needs to be more robots. i mean sure i dont want this model chick in the movie or any type of love interest, but i think they should keep the robot count a bit more limited than Revenge did. Revenge barely covered any of the new robots that people wanted. yea the twins got alot of screen time, but nobody likes them. i wanted way more from sideswipe or maybe even soundwave. hell the ending to Fallen was just a bunch of robots fightin that u never even saw before. so my opinion is no love interest, and about the same amount of robots from the first, maybe a little more

if true, it would be consistent with bay's typical juvenile persona. ball jokes, urine jokes, big explosions, "hot girls"... and he wonders why the filmmaking community doesn't take his filmmaking seriously (outside of being good for big blockbuster tickets). lame.

@nightwing18 I would rather the acting in the movie be better than the actor's looks.
Incidentally: She's not GORGEOUS. She's relatively pretty. I think we need an experienced actress to take on the role of the movie's eyecandy. That way we get someone who can act, as well as someone who looks pretty. I don't really care either way about the latter, but it'll keep all the bitchy, hormonal, teenage boys at bay, at any rate.

No recatsing. No new love intrest. Just make it as if her character is just not in the movie. Make it look like Shia talked to her on the phone, with her voice not being heard like on tv shows. Typical i love you, all is ok stuff. And have the movie go into this new direction that they all keep talking about. Megan and Michael needs top both take a chill pill and work together on this movie couse it will not be the same with out her for one, and she is a huge part of Shia's characters life. Look how much the origianl Batman movies slide when they changed Batman from Keaton to Kilmer, then to Cloony.This will probly be the last transformer movie anyway, so might as well say you was in a huge money making trilogy.

Shouldn't even bother recasting. For all the time they waste on a stupid love story, it could be spent watching sh*t get destroyed and robots fighting. That's why I watch Transformers to begin with.

Please don't let this be true... Movieweb has it wrong, Megan Fox DID act before Transformers, she played the daughter in "Hope and Faith" and had a cameo in "Two and a Half Men", not much I know, but a lot more than some Victorias Secret model...

If this is true, i hope she'll at least be playing a different character than Mikaila. I hate when they change actors/actresses in movies, it just makes it feel like a completely different character. I would much rather see it be just Sam though. Bay could really put more action and a better story if there weren't any girl at all

When Fox quit/was fired, I figured Bay would be smart enough to take this as an opportunity to hire an actress who's nice looking but also has some acting experience. Yeesh.
