Is Rambo 5 Getting Ready to Shoot?

Screen Daily News is reporting that Nu Boyana, Bulgaria, is expanding its city street sets to accommodate not just the upcoming film Pope Joan, but also Sylvester Stallone's next directorial effort Rambo 5.

Does this mean that Rambo 5 is gearing up to shoot soon? The report doesn't give much more information than the fact that ten new sound stages will be built on the grounds of the Sofia-based studio for the film. Rumor has the plot of the next Rambo taking place off the war field. Some speculate that the story will deal with John discovering he has a daughter, and his fight to save her from an evil cult.

At this time, Stallone hasn't announced a start date for Rambo 5.

Rambo was released January 25th, 2008 and stars Sylvester Stallone, Julie Benz, Matthew Marsden, Graham McTavish, Reynaldo Gallegos, Jake La Botz, Tim Kang, Maung Maung Khin. The film is directed by Sylvester Stallone.

    Would somebody PLEASE pull this old fart away from the set and stick him back in the home with Steven Segal and Van Damme!! Or better yet, lets have Rambo in his greatest battle ever--in the last and FINAL installment Rambo takes on the VA to free his benefits but meets his end when he dies before the paperwork gets approved-YES!!

    I like Rambo and all,but I don't think it should be made cause it seemed the last movie didn't make much at the Box Office,plus no one seemed to care about it anymore. Rambo should be the last cause to me with its ending he came full circle. But who knows if this story is good enough it might make some interest for moviegoers to see.
