"Shooting Iron Man 2 was a fantastic experience and we couldn't be happier. Although there were many challenges in making this film, having Jon Favreau, Robert Downey, Gwyneth Paltrow and almost the entire crew from the first film back on board, allowed us to hit the ground running as everyone was instantly familiar with each other from day one," Feige told the site. "This dynamic allowed us to get done what we needed on a day to day basis and was a big factor in why we finished slightly ahead of schedule."

Iron Man 2 was released May 7th, 2010 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg. The film is directed by Jon Favreau.

And Yeah cawalat, Unit 1 is actors, Unit 2 is reshoots, stunt shots, and effects.

I don't think waiting between movies or "taking the time" necessarily makes them better. There is an appropriate window of production for any movie, and Marvel is working with people who understand that.

I don't get it, if they are done... Why are they releasing Iron Man 2, May 2010?
Is it the CG stuff that isn't ready?

Yeah I'm also confident in this film as well. Iron Man to me was the best Marvel movie to date, and I do like almost all Marvel movies.

comrade well said superbowl seems like a good time for a full length trailer, teaser should arrive with Avatar or so in december.........Marvel who controls these movies unlike Sony or Fox, they want to pick up the pace so they can throw in Thor, Capt America, Antman (if at all) and the Avengers, obviously if they took the time on this stuff, we looking at 2020 for avengers or ironman 3

I still have high hopes and virtually no fears for this film. And that's f*cking bold for me. I have a feeling we'll know exactly what to expect from this movie by next Super Bowl.

I think this will be good. After all, the same team who made "Iron Man" so awesome is back for this installment, along with some new faces, of course. Jon Favreau is a hell of a director.

it does seem to short john favreau wanted to do this movie in 3 years originally but marvel pressure him into doing it 2 years once he gets a few more movies under his belt he will be able to get 3 studios to wait for him like nolan and michael bay

2 years from one movie to the next isnt much of a rush, but time will tell, movie should do an easy $250 million

They planned this one for a lot tighter shoot. The "shorter" Unit One time shouldn't worry anyone, because this movie is going to be explosively good. And I'm actually really glad it doesn't release until next year because it gives a wide berth to the SFX department, which is really what made the difference with Star Trek. Imagine your favorite effects heavy movie. Now imagine what it would have looked like if the Effects guys had gone over every shot again and detailed it even further. You would end up with something remarkable. When this goes to print next April--I can't even describe how fawesome just the trailer will be.

To me, it kind of feels like they rushed since the first one took longer to shoot. On the other hand, they will be able to take their time in post-productuion. I just hope it's not like Revenge of the Fallen, where the last 30 minutes had lazy writing and felt rushed.
