While Favreau didn't respond to the fan's tweet, the fact that he retweeted it could be a significant hint. It does also make sense that the Iron Man 2 trailer would be attached to Sherlock Holmes, since they both star Robert Downey Jr.
We'll be sure to keep you posted on any Iron Man 2 news as soon as we have more information. Sherlock Holmes hits theaters nationwide on Christmas Day.
Iron Man 2 was released May 7th, 2010 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg. The film is directed by Jon Favreau.

I don't think we can base Favreau's intentions off of this. But I'd say it's about time we got a trailer, and Sherlock Holmes would be the perfect movie to air it with.
