Invasion Hits DVD Shelves on January 29th

Invasion will make its way to DVD on January 29. The disc will be released in the standard and Blu-Ray formats on this date, and it will get its HD DVD release on February 19. The film, a remake of the classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers, stars Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig and is directed by German helmer Olvier Hischbiegel, making his American feature debut.

Synopsis
Invasion tells the story of a mysterious epidemic that alters the behavior of human beings. When a Washington D.C. psychiatrist (Nicole Kidman) discovers the epidemic's origins are extraterrestrial, she must fight to protect her son, who may hold the key to stopping an imminent invasion.

This film was horriable due to the fact that the film was originally wrapped in early 2006, the film underwent massive reshooting in 2007. The reason for this was the studio which didn't liked the cut director Oliver Hirschbiegel delivered. To change that, Andy Wachowski and Larry Wachowski were brought in for rewrites and James McTeigue to direct the new scenes. So do we get a mulity varity of DVD's to choose which director version we want..or do we finally get a proper cut which will take all the plot holes and other problems with the film out??? for one would have liked to see the directors cut. After watching this movie the first thing I said to my friends was that this movie has been cut and re-cut. Now after reading that the producers brought in another director then re-wrote & re-shot chunks of this movies you understand the disjointed feel of this movie!
