Insidious Chapter 2 Set Photo Reveals the Return of Leigh Whannell as Specs

Last week, we showed you a few photos from the Los Angeles set of Insidious Chapter 2, which were provided by screenwriter-actor Leigh Whannell. While the multi-hyphenate did write the sequel, it was never confirmed if he will return as the paranormal investigator Specs. Today, Leigh Whannell posted yet another photo from the set, confirming that Specs is indeed alive and well. Director James Wan also posted two photos from the set, showcasing both the interior and exterior of the house they are filming in. The filmmaker added a bit of trivia, mentioning that they are shooting in the same house that the cult classic Spider Baby was shot in. Insidious Chapter 2 comes to theaters September 13th, 2013 and stars Rose Byrne, Patrick Wilson, Barbara Hershey, Lin Shaye, Leigh Whannell, Michael Beach, Ty Simpkins, Danielle Bisutti. The film is directed by James Wan.
