Michael Mann's production finds financing
Michael Mann is producing this film with Michael Jaffe and his daughter Ami Canaan Mann is directing.
Morgan is going to star in this film as a detective transplanted from New York. Worthington will be playing a local investigator who is probing a series of unsolved murders in industrial wastelands surrounding Gulf Coast refineries.
Former DEA agent Donald F. Ferrarone wrote the screenplay.
The Fields was released in 2011.
