Harrison Ford wants to kill off Indiana Jones
"Harrison thinks it would be good for Indy to die and pass on his hat to his son in the next one. George especially is resisting the notion, but Steven is considering it. Funnily enough Harrison wanted the same for Han Solo in the final Star Wars but George put an end to it. This time (George) doesn't have all the say though."
We reported back in August that a story for Indiana Jones 5 had been cracked with a script now in the works. It is still unclear when Indiana Jones 5 will go into production, but stay tuned for the latest details as soon as more information comes in.

Been thinking about this for a while. I would rather see an Uncharted film than a sequel to the fourth Indy film, Shia is all right but he's no Harrison Ford.
Still don't care about the 4th film after seeing it again for the second time.

when will they ever get to doing this, too many films Steven has under his belt, but as if he is very technically involved with tin tin and the war horse but then Jonathon Nolan needs to rap up Interseller and steven cant always hang onto a series that died off after the fourth

if they killed him off it wouldn't follow canon from the indiana jones universe. most of you must be forgetting that during the young indiana jones tv series, it was an elderly indiana jones that narrated the stories from his younger adventures. he was missing an eye from an untold story, but he was definitely still alive!!!!

You guys understand that at some point Harrison Ford is gonna be to old for the role, and if they want to continue the series they are gonna have to move on to someone new regardless if its a tebbit or shai playing his son... Id rather see them continue forward then a reboot...

The story ended with Last Crusade. They can continue to make more movies, but I won't recognize them as Indiana Jones or part of the story, just some other movies with the namesake.

Shia may not be that great an actor, but he should never do feature films. I think he only wants to act for one reason 'fame' and or 'money'

They need to leave it alone. Enough with this talk about how they could do this or do that... screw all that. Last Crusade had a fine ending (the ending I recognize as the end of Indy), there isn't any need for more, especially with Shia. He's not a bad actor, but Indy wasn't a good fit for him in my opinion. Like other series that have concluded (Buffy...) I wish they could be left alone...

Before the original Indy ends, we need to see Indy has a real treasure and some good details before it will be passed to Shia LaBeouf.
