Indiana Jones 4 Starts Production This Week

Formula1.com caught up with George Lucas at the Monaco Grand Prix last week, where he mentioned that the fourth installment of the Indiana Jones saga is scheduled to start filming this week:

A Monaco regular is movie mogul George Lucas, a long-term Formula One fan. "I caught the racing bug when I was 14 years old - and I have been following Formula One ever since. Probably unusual for an American, but there you go. What fascinates me most is the speed and the accuracy, especially here in Monaco where sometimes centimetres make the difference between do or die. I plan to go to Indianapolis as well - if my schedule permits it, as I start shooting Indiana Jones IV next week. If the production is running as planned you will find me there."

Indiana Jones 4 is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2008.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released May 22nd, 2008 and stars Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett, Karen Allen, Shia LaBeouf, Ray Winstone, John Hurt, Jim Broadbent, Igor Jijikine. The film is directed by Steven Spielberg.
