HBO viewers will get another dose of theraputic entertainment at the end of next year. According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO has ordered a third season of In Treatment.

Star Gabriel Byrne will return as Dr. Paul Weston and it was said that casting for other roles was set to begin shortly. Anya Epstein and Danny Futterman have stepped in as executive producers and showrunners, to fill the void of departing executive producer/showrunner Warren Leight.

The half-hour series will begin production on the new season in early 2010, with a third-season debut set for later that year.
