Idris Elba Heads to Asgard for {Thor
The actor will play Heimdall, the guardian of Thor's home land of Asgard. Elba joins a cast that already includes Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddelston and Natalie Portman.
Kenneth Branagh will direct the film, which is set for a May 20, 2011 release date. Shooting is scheduled to commence in January.
Thor was released May 6th, 2011 and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgård, Kat Dennings, Clark Gregg, Idris Elba. The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh.

It's not like it's old Nick Fury. The white version still exists...unless you mean age wise, but they're probably both around the same age.

Nick Fury is a middle aged white guy in most depictions, but we have Samuel L Jackson playing him. I like most am waiting for the Loki casting news, assuming he's in this movie.

i don't know the world of Thor very well but i guess he'll be alright fro the part that he's gonna be playing he has skills in acting and he may be good. So we'll find out hopefully Thor will be good and the movie follows Thor to the T.
