Ice Age: Continental Drift lands The Wanted for the soundtrack

To keep things cool this summer, The Wanted, have joined forces with Twentieth Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios to celebrate the return of one of the world's most beloved franchises when Ice Age: Continental Drift hits cinemas on July 13th 2012.

Following the phenomenal success of their single "Glad You Came", which has sold over 2 million copies, the UK pop sensation announce their brand new single 'Chasing The Sun' will be a featured track on this summer's most anticipated animated feature film. The Wanted's self-titled US EP is available everywhere now!

In Ice Age: Continental Drift, Scrat's nutty pursuit of the cursed acorn, which he's been after since the dawn of time, has world-changing consequences - a continental cataclysm that triggers the greatest adventure of all for Manny, Diego and Sid. In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home.

The Wanted have rapidly become one of the world's biggest and best pop bands. They have scored multiple UK number 1 singles, had a number one radio record in the US and have sold out venues all over the world including London's O2 Arena.

Ice Age: Continental Drift was released July 13th, 2012 and stars Aziz Ansari, Joy Behar, Christopher Campbell, Alain Chabat, Ester Dean, Peter Dinklage, Aubrey Graham, Jason Fricchione. The film is directed by Steve Martino, Mike Thurmeier.
