Jeremy Renner and Jennifer Lopez join Ice Age: Continental Drift
In Ice Age: Continental Drift, Jeremy Renner will portray Gutt, a self-styled master of the high seas. Lopez will play Jennifer Lopez, a sabre toothed who melts the heart of Diego, also a sabre toothed tiger.
Denis Leary has recommitted to voice the role of Diego, while Ray Romano returns as Manny and Queen Latifah as Ellie.
Ice Age: Continental Drift comes to theaters July 13th, 2012 and stars Ray Romano, Karen Disher, Queen Latifah, Jennette McCurdy, Denis Leary, Chris Wedge, Josh Peck, Avril Lavigne. The film is directed by Carlos Saldanha, Steve Martino, Mike Thurmeier.

@diaigma Each Shrek has their moments and they are not bad movies by any means. I just always enjoyed the wackiness of Ice Age a little better. But ya the first Shrek was borderline genius.

@skywise - agreed to a point - the first Shrek blows them all away. I will admit I enjoyed the "Buck" character in the third Ice Age. Friggin loon :P

They're still making these? I only liked the first one. After that the whole 'isn't it hilarious how the squirrel can't keep his acorn?' joke got very old...
However, this article did get a sarcastic laugh out of me with Lopez's character named Jennifer Lopez. Like in a 'ha, that's trying too hard to be funny' kind of way.
