Last week we reported that the Jim Carrey/Ewan McGregor film I Love You Phillip Morris was to be "delayed indefinitely" and now it seems another release date has been set. Variety is reporting that I Love You Phillip Morris will now open in limited release on July 30.

The film has experienced several delays and had trouble finding a distributor after its debut at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. The film was originally set to open on March 26 and then was delayed to April 30 and then it was said to be delayed indefinitely. Now it seems the film will receive a limited release on July 30 and will start to expand a week later on August 6.

Jim Carrey stars in the film as a married con man who gets sent to prison and falls in love with his cellmate, played by Ewan McGregor.

I Love You Phillip Morris was released December 3rd, 2010 and stars Jim Carrey, Ewan McGregor, Leslie Mann, Rodrigo Santoro, Antoni Corone, Brennan Brown, Michael Mandel, Annie Golden. The film is directed by Glenn Ficarra, John Requa.
