I, Frankenstein will shoot in Victoria, Australia
I, Frankenstein is based on Kevin Grevioux's graphic novel which focuses on Adam (Aaron Eckhart), Frankenstein's creature who lives in modern day underneath a metropolis, where he is caught in the middle of a war between two immortal clans.
Our earlier report indicated production will begin in January, although this new report reveals shooting won't start until February. The production will be based at Dockland Studios, although specific shooting locations were not released. The Victoria state government estimates I, Frankenstein will spend roughly $37 million in the area.
Stuart Beattie is directing I, Frankenstein from his own adapted screenplay.
I, Frankenstein comes to theaters January 24th, 2014 and stars Aaron Eckhart, Yvonne Strahovski, Bill Nighy, Jai Courtney, Miranda Otto, Caitlin Stasey, Kevin Grevioux, Aden Young. The film is directed by Stuart Beattie.
