Timothy Hutton, Mira Sorvino, Dana Delany, Stockard Channing and Mario Van Peebles will star in the ensemble drama Multiple Sarcasms, set in New York City circa 1979, according to Variety.

The script, co-written by Linda Morris, follows a man stumbling through a series of midlife missteps and deciding to write a play based on his relationships with the women in his life. Just as the play becomes wildly successful, his real life collapses.

Filming will take place in New York with a $2.5 million budget.
