Gary Ross Officially Directing Peter and the Starcatchers
The story is a prequel to the J.M. Barrie classic Peter Pan. The plot follows Peter, who meets a young girl named Molly on a Neverland ship. Molly tells Peter about a trunk of magical "starstuff" that must never be found by "Black Stache," the name Captain Hook went by before losing his hand. Peter and Molly embark on an adventure to keep this mystical substance out of the pirate's hands.
The director recently passed on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire due to time constraints and will be helming The Secret Life of Houdini for Summit Entertainment.
Peter and the Starcatchers was released in 2012. The film is directed by Gary Ross.

@bawnian-dexeus Hmmm that doesnt sound good. But even if it was rushed he was already emersed in that world with a firm understanding of how it works. I dont think this is good for Catching Fire.
