Hulk Director Being Courted for Superman?

Director Louis Leterrier hinted in an online Q&A session with fans that he may have been approached by Warner Brothers to take over the reigns for Superman: The Man of Steel. Thanks to Ain't It Cool News who brought us the transcript from the session.

In the Q&A Leterrier was asked to say 'Yes' or 'No' to several films about whether or not he would be interested in directing them. One obvious film that he was asked about was Hulk 2, which he said of course to. But when asked about Superman: The Man of Steel, his response was interesting.

"Funny that you mentioned Superman... because, hum, maybe they asked me...." Leterrier said.

Now, does this mean Bryan Singer and Brandon Routh are out? Perhaps Singer will produce with Leterrier directing? Keep reading MovieWeb and SuperheroFlix for more details as they become available.

Superman: Man of Steel comes to theaters June 14th, 2013 and stars Henry Cavill, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

The Incredible Hulk was released June 13th, 2008 and stars Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, William Hurt, Tim Blake Nelson, Ty Burrell, Christina Cabot, Peter Mensah. The film is directed by Louis Leterrier.

    i remember the first time i saw Batman (Burton) in the full suit, creamed myself! :)

    the new suit looks cool, but Burton's was better. even if he couldn't move to freely in it, it looked bad ass!

    and i just want to add that the only reason why the changed the batman suit is because it let batman move his head around and stuff like that, and i prefer the other suit more. the new suit looks like he is RoboCop or something, but w/e. there have been worser suits of batman.

    i wouldnt care if they re-used the suit or not. if they do change it, they should make it seem more cool and ditch the speedo over the pants, even though that is anti-Superman. lol. and im glad im not the only one that likes Hanc*ck. good movie, different and interesting plot, comedy and drama.. good stuff. it'll be cool if they made a sequel.
